Let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVE this digital frame that Kodak was kind enough to send me for review. The Pulse frame is not like any other digital photo frame that I have seen in stores; it has many more easy-of-use properties.
This past Christmas I gave my grandparents on both sides a digital photo frame with a preloaded SD card filled with pictures of all their kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They appreciated it more than I can express in words however even with the preloaded SD card, they had difficulty setting it up for the first time. It was not very difficult but they are not very electronically savvy people in general and I ended up having to go to each of their homes to set the frame up myself. If I had of known about the Kodak Pulse, I could remotely update these pictures without my grand-parents knowing which would be such a treat for them to see, at least for the one set of grand-parents who happen to have a wireless connection.
The Kodak Pulse frame has WiFi and allows you create it`s own email account where you can remotely email pictures to and automatically add or update your pictures using a computer or mobile phone. Another bonus to this is if you have out of town family or friends, you can give them the email address and they can also update your picture stream. You can still adjust your albums as to which ones by default you want on the current stream. With a touch point screen you can maneuver around the frame changing your settings easily. If you prefer, or are giving this as a gift to someone who does not have a wireless connection, you can alternatively use a flash stick or SD card for picture updates and storage.
Some really interesting features were the Facebook and the easy share options. Not only can you share pictures directly from your Kodak Easyshare or Slice camera by tagging them and emailing them to your pulse email address, you can link your frame directly to yours or your friends and family Facebook albums. Personally I don`t update my personal Facebook pictures enough for this to be a worthwhile option for me but the option is available if I were to at some point want to utilize it.
Overall I was very impressed with the Kodak Pulse digital frame and all the options it has to offer. The only thing I would have liked as an added feature would be a wall hang option. You do need a plug in to run the frame; for some people a wall hang option would be pointless but with my husband being an Electrician, I could have him rig up a plug on a suitable wall space.

wow, i love that it has a wifi with it's own email. I would think it would be even quicker to add pics then. I don't own a digital picture frame yet but I've been thinking about it
I know, Kodak has really thought of everything with this digital photo frame. I find it much easier to keep updated pictures if they can be uploaded digitally. If I actually have to go get some printed, it takes me forever. ;)
