I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to the results many skin care companies claim to provide.  I have my favorites and do not sway from the brands that I have used for years.  Mainly because I have combination skin and I find most products to become too oily once on my skin which results in acne or skin bumps that I have a heck of a time getting rid of, especially products used on the face.

For awhile now I have been noticing bumps on my skin that don't go away no matter what I try.  I've had bumps on my arms before but they usually go away.  I have been faithful to a certain brand of skin care since I was 19 and up until Baby Girl was born my regular skin care regimen has kept my skin healthy.  Since Baby Girl's birth I have had bumps on my arms that do not go away no matter what I try.  I'm a little self conscious about these bumps; I used to have nice skin.  It seems the older I get the more problems I have with my skin, you'd think I was a teenager for goodness sake.  Possibly the hormones have had a lot to do with the change in my skin but after a year, one would think that the hormones would level back out and my skin would go back to normal, especially after discontinuing nursing months ago.  Beyond hormones, I then thought it might be the soap I was using but I've been using the same brand of soap for more years than I have been using my  facial skin care products.  None of my products have changed.  The only other thing I thought was that possibly after using a product for so long, your skin develops a sensitivity to it.  I have developed several allergies, mostly hay fever, over the last few years, this year being the worst for some reason.  This also might be a stretch.
