Lunchboxes: Made with heavy-duty nylon and machine washable for kid- proof durability and easy cleaning. Back side has a name tag and a zipped pocket. Tested PVC free, lead free, and phthalate free. (10 x 7.5 x 4”)
Backpacks: Constructed from durable nylon and easy-to-clean laminated canvas. The large interior space contains a smaller zipped pocket. Padded back panel and padded shoulder straps. Designed for ages 2 to 5. PVC free, lead free, & phthalate free. (9 x 12 x 5.5")

Definitely slideshow 1 except that there are no pics of the lunch boxes
Thanks for the feedback; the lunchboxes are there, they are just mini versions of thebackpacks...they don't have the front zipper pocket or side drink cup pocket like the backpacks do. You can see the difference in size in the picture of the boy wearing the penguin backpack and carrying the lunchbox.

Oooh, tough decision. I think both Skip Hop and Dante Beatrix make sure adorable items... my 3yo has the Dante Beatrix monkey backpack and loves it, plus it has been such high quality. But I do think that Skip Hop/Slideshow #1 are a little cuter and, if I remember right, are actually more affordable, so I guess I'd vote for those!

Thanks somuch for commenting. I love both, Beatrix because they are so retro looking and have actually been spotted with a celebrities kid or two but Skip Hop has that extra detailing like zipper pulls to match the animal (ie: a banana with the monkey & a slice of swiss cheese with the mouse). You're right the Skip Hop are more affordable, in my opinion, and as a mom I would tend to error on the side of affordabilty over visual appeal. As you said the beatrix seems to be such high quality, not that the ski hop are not, but the price tagis a bit higher.
I wanted people to tell me first there opinion on cuteness and which ones visually they were drawn to and secondly if price would sway that decision.

I like slide show #1 it could be that products are so much cuter when kids are modeling them. I Love the owl back pack in #1! Super cute!

They are both really cute lunchboxes, my little one has a Skip Hop backpack already for when she starts preschool (in two years!) I really think those are so cute and they have really great designs!
